Laren Family Hotel & Spa

I stayed at this hotel with my husband for a week and the stay was very positive and made the experience of being in Turkey very pleasant. Be it because of the location, which is just a few minutes away from the beach or the main street. I work in tourism and hospitality and I can say that the entire team is cohesive, pleasant, professional and very friendly. For me, this was a difference that I take into account a lot and I can say that everyone works with pleasure. I also loved having music in the pool area, which creates a relaxed and relaxing atmosphere. Congratulations to the team for all their kindness and friendliness.

During my stay, I was very satisfied with the cleanliness of the room. Hüsniye Orhan, the housekeeping staff member responsible, did an excellent and very thorough job. It was clear that the room had been cleaned with great attention to detail, not just tidied but properly deep-cleaned. Her work was consistent, professional, and of a noticeably high standard. I appreciated the care she took in maintaining a clean and comfortable space, which added positively to my overall experience.

Avoid this hotel unless you want a miserable time. Staff are rude and should not be working in hospitality. There was no white wine or Prosecco in the hotel for 4 days whilst we was there even though they mentioned they would order it on day one. There are no sun loungers even though it’s 24 degrees just expected to sit on the most uncomfortable chairs. When asked about this they said they have ordered them for next month. Our room didn’t even have a balcony, the soap dispenser in the shower was broke, The spa if you can call it that was just an average jacuzzi you buy from a shop that fit two people that was filthy and half full. The steam room wasn’t even turned on. The room didn’t get cleaned every day and when it did the one time we was there they didn’t even change the beds or pick the rubbish up from the side from the overflowing bin that already had trash left in it from the previous stay. They charged us £50 for drinks we didn’t even have! We have now moved hotels as it was that bad. I don’t even write reviews but this deserved one.
