We had an amazing stay at Hotel Larimar in Budva with a group of friends, and we couldn’t be happier with our experience! From the moment we arrived, everything felt cozy, welcoming, and perfectly suited for a fun and relaxing vacation. The hotel is clean, beautifully maintained, and has a peaceful atmosphere that made us feel right at home. The included breakfast was fresh and tasty, with a good variety to start the day off right. What really made the stay special was how friendly and helpful the staff were — always kind, always smiling, and ready to assist with anything we needed. Hotel Larimar is a great place whether you’re traveling with friends or family. We created wonderful memories here and would absolutely love to come back again. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Budva!
Excellently run hotel by Russian people. Warm and cheerful people, which is not easy to find in Montenegro. They provide many help like free beach umbrellas and transportation from Splendid Hotel to Larimar. Rooms, bathroom and glassware were all very clean. Highly recommended.
Great hotel for the price. Good service, very helpful and multilingual staff. They provide lots of useful information. The rooms are excellent. As expected from the pictures. It has all the necessary staff, bathroom, kitchen, balcony, nice view to the sea from most of the rooms. The location is a bit far from the sea, and the road to the hotel is very steep, so for elderly people it may be a little hard to walk, but they have transfers from the beach 3 times a day. You can walk down to the beach, then take the ride back. But for young and fit people like us it was a fairly easy 5 minute walk up the hill. The walk to Budva centre is around 3km, maybe 25-30 minutes, and there are 2 ways: one with the road above the hill, and one with tunnel. But both have pretty nice views on the city and the beach and sea. We enjoyed taking these walks to Budva old town and back. Safety in the hotel is on high priority, as all the rooms and outside doors are locked and unlocked by cards. Same for the door to the outside pool, which is also a good bonus to have. There is also a safe inside the room. Plus they offer you beach towels every day. There are 3 small markets nearby and one big supermarket a bit further.
