Larkbeare Grange

Had the most wonderful stay at Larkbeare Grange. Beautiful house, our every need was met, really peacefulsurroundings and very comfortable room. Our hosts Charlie and Julia were lovely. Breakfast was delicious with great choice of options. Afternoon tea on first day was much appreciated. Would highly recommend! Close to Exeter city and other points of interest.

We had the pleasure of staying at Larkbeare Grange for three nights at the start of this year and can wholeheartedly recommend it to others. Every detail was top notch: a very warm welcome on arrival, an exceptionally comfortable room and bed, delicious breakfasts each morning, roaring fire in the sitting room each afternoon and addictive homemade biscuits. Julia and Charlie have a beautiful home and we feel lucky to have had the chance to experience it for a few nights.

My partner and I were recently lucky enough to take a trip to Larkbeare Grange for a second time. It seems like this place just gets better and better with every visit! Charlie and Julia are so welcoming and helpful - we never felt like a burden and instead felt so at home in their lovely bed and breakfast. We’d both had quite busy and stressful times at work so a relaxing getaway was much needed and that’s exactly what we got! The beds are incredibly comfortable. I personally struggle with pillows in most hotels but had no issues here - they were perfect and allowed me to have the restful sleep I needed. Breakfast was delicious! Charlie’s homemade croissants were buttery, flakey and warm. It’s also very clear to see that they only use the best ingredients and make everything themselves. We couldn’t recommend this beautiful place more - perfect for a relaxing getaway, surrounded by some of the country’s most idyllic landscapes. Thank you for having us again, can’t wait to come back!
