L'Arrivée Hotel & Spa

Amazing hotel by the forest 7 min away from the city. Breakfast Buffet quality is real good. diner at the restaurant was delicious. friendly staff and Amazing Spa & Sauna. thanks L'arrivée team.

The room was spacious and clean, with excellent water pressure in the shower; my husband really enjoyed the bath. Breakfast was lovely, though I would have appreciated bacon in a warmed dish as opposed to one plate of bacon sitting out in the cold air. The bread was excellent and the selection was good. The spa was great, a lovely big pool and hot jacuzzi we enjoyed while we stayed there. My husband booked a massage and had nothing but praise afterward. We did not get a chance to use the sauna, so can't speak on it. Service in the restaurant could be improved, the wait was long, the waitress mostly ignored us and we eventually had to ask a different waiter for the bill.

The room was fine, the service in the restaraunt for both Le Petit Chef and breakfast was fantastic, but it lost stars because I had (and paid for) the worst massage ever I'm pretty sure they did not know what they were doing and me and my partner have both been left in pain, we were supposed to get a choice between massages and this wasn't communicated, then we had a painful rough massage that was mostly someone digging their fists into my neck, i tried to make staff aware, no one could understand unfortunately and I was left to pay £100 avoid the spa at all costs.
