Las Arenas Balneario Resort

A great hotel, great location great staff perfect service. Loads of bars, restaurants and supermarket's nearby. A short trip to the city €10 taxi approx €2 on the bus. Large room, comfortable bed, quality towels, bedding and toiletries. Pool area and sunbeds washed and cleaned every day. All staff were faultless in their interaction, service and helpfulness. No hesitation in returning we wouldn't even look elsewhere.

Amazing hotel with great service. The best possible location, amnesties, food, and overall 10/10 expect two reasons which resulted in 4 stars: 1) Cheap, small, and old gym. Like wellness and sport were the last things they thought about and placed the gym in the last free space they had 2) Half of the functions in the spa simply didn't work and the spa itself is pretty small and simple We would expect better gym and spa for a 5-star hotel at this price. If these are no interest to you, feel free to book because everything else is really top notch.

Given how expensive this hotel is, I was disappointed with a few things. 1) There's two outdoor pools, a kids one and an adult one. The adult one has very few loungers. So unless you're staying in a suite which has a reserved bed, it's very difficult to get a good lounger. 2) Following on from 1 ... the hotel say you cannot reserve sun loungers, but people put towels down at 8am or even earlier then disappear until 11am. People reserve loungers and the staff do not do anything about it. 3) The room sizes are ok. A tad on the small side. On the positive side, the hotel has a great location by the beach and restaurants, the staff are on the whole very good, and the general vibe of the hotel is top end. The breakfasts were also excellent.
