The location is ideal to disconnect and do routes. The accommodation has spectacular views and does not lack anything, but the best of all is the kindness and treatment of Ismael and Carmen, and it is noticeable when things are done with desire and effort so that everything is well. Highly recommended!
Exceptional experience!!! The accommodation is a 10/10!! Very well-maintained and clean. The area has plenty to do and enjoy while relaxing. And Carmen and Ismael, TOP!!! Their attention, friendliness, helpfulness, and good humor are impressive with everything they do. And also, their food is amazing!! A very good idea to enjoy dinner there. We will return and recommend it!
My weekend experience at Las Casitas del Bodegón in El Gasco was wonderful, albeit very short. The place is charming, and the locals are very hospitable and friendly. They make you feel like you're part of the local community. María del Mar, from the Interpretation Center, showed us and illustrated the way of life in the Las Hurdes region, and in El Gasco in particular. The best time to visit is in spring, to see the surroundings in their full splendor, although for me, just sharing time with the neighbors on the terrace of Las Casitas del Bodegón makes it perfect any time of year. We'll definitely return to do more hiking, swim in the river, and chat in the fresh air with the neighbors on the terrace of Las Casitas del Bodegón with Ismael and Carmen.
