The restaurant El Palmar is where we met the best waitress in the whole resort, Janeth. she was so attentive and kind. She made sure that her glasses were always full and that we didn't need anything else during our visits to the buffet. If you have the opportunity to come to this resort, please do yourself a favor, and when checking in with the hostess ask to be seated in Janeth's section. You will not regret it.

Do not come here if you have strollers or wheel chairs or toddlers, stairs everywhere and there are no elevators and rooms have steps. I specifically asked for a room with no steps, since I have a double stroller 3 kids. Service and food is good but to many complications just to go to pool or food, not stroller or wheelchair friendly. I also asked for a glass of milk at the bar for my kids and they tried to charge me $50 pesos, even though it was all inclusive. Hotel was at 50% capacity, for breakfast I asked for some hand made tortillas since they were making them when we got there, and when I get in line they staff said they were all out, 1 hr into the all in breakfast buffet. The beach is nice and pool is good as well with good shade, staff is friendly.

This is the worst resort I've ever been to. My room smelled like raw sewage. Everything at the resort shuts down at 6pm and afterwards there's only one mediocre buffet open for dinner. This is an "all inclusive resort" and I'm only staying here one night for work, but since everything is closed I'm basically paying to have a single meal. Speaking of this buffet, they put the food out an hour before it opened. Not surprisingly, the food was cold and unappetizing. They served classics like room temperature chicken and soggy pizza at this "5 star" resort. As for the service, it was awful and slow, I waited an hour in the lobby to check in and even getting a drink took 10+ min at an empty bar. The facilities are at least 50 years old and haven't been updated in as much time. There's nothing around this resort either, so once you check in you're trapped. There is no way these reviews are real, this property is clearly paying for reviews. Avoid this place at all costs.
