The hotel's location was great, right by the metro, with restaurants and shops nearby. It's only 10 minutes to Taksim, and the staff were polite and professional – especially Ali at reception! I highly recommend it, it's worth the stay.

The hotel is very near to one of exit of Osmanbey station (M2 line), there is an escalator (going up) and just a few steps can reach the hotel. You need to use staircase to go down from ground to metro station but the opposite road has a lift. If you are traveling on public transport, this hotel is a good choice. Outside the hotel, there is a convenient store selling waters and snacks. There are many Pharmacies around (Eczane). M2 line is the popular metro line used by tourists as some of the main attractions are linked by this line. Osmanbey station is just one stop next to Taksim station. The room is quiet, the staff are friendly and some of them speak English. However, the TV in the hotel room is not a smart tv, can't connect to internet, therefore YouTube and Netflix are not available. If the hotel upgrades their rooms' interior design and internet facilities, this hotel is perfect then.

Our stay at Lasagrada Hotel Istanbul was unfortunately ruined by one shocking incident that no family should have to deal with — especially at a place that claims to be a 5-star hotel. Yes, my young daughter accidentally stained the bed sheet — a minor issue that happens with children, and one we were willing to take responsibility for. But instead of handling it professionally or even speaking to us kindly, the hotel management chose to deactivate my room key — despite the fact that I had already fully paid for our stay. This was clearly done just to force me to go down and speak with the manager, which is an unbelievably disrespectful way to treat guests. When I finally spoke to the manager, I was expecting an apology or at least a polite conversation. Instead, he was cold, dismissive, and offered no apology whatsoever. His exact words were: “Next time we won’t do it.” That’s not how a professional manager should address a paying guest. This kind of treatment was shocking — not only because of the situation, but because it came from a hotel that advertises itself as luxury and family-friendly. If you’re traveling with kids or simply expect to be treated with respect, this is NOT the hotel for you. We will never return, and I hope no other family has to go through what we did.
