We were a party of 5 having the afternoon tea at Lastingham grange. The family who own the grange could not have been nicer or more accommodating, they really made us feel welcome and spent time chatting with us. The grounds are beautiful and the village and surrounding area are breathtaking. We had a very special day mostly thanks to the wonderful service. Thank you.
Booked an afternoon tea with Prosecco and it was like stepping back in time on arrival. We half expected Miss Marple to walk in. The afternoon tea was delightful with delicious sandwiches and home baked cakes. The service was excellent with all of our needs being met. The lounge was a relaxed place to eat and there were so many different ornaments to look at that we could have stayed many more hours and still not seen everything. The gentleman on reception was very friendly and took the time to chat which is not always the case in hotels. Would I recommend this establishment to friends and family, without a second thought the answer is yes. Thank you for a delightful afternoon. We shall definitely return.
Customer service here is always lovely and thoughtful - the very best. Beautiful gardens and a gorgeous 16th-c wisteria-clad building - we all had a lovely time here.
