Absolutely fantastic place. In the middle of a quaint town there's this jewel of a hotel with it's own park like garden. The park opens to the large city park that invites to strolls and nature enjoyment with it's English garden. The hotel host a one Michelin star restaurant. The quality of the food is fantastic. The "normal" restaurant is also quite good serving local dishes from the region. The breakfast is fantastic.

Very nice place with delicious cousin, beautiful room, kindly service. The only point that nobody from staff I met in the morning speaked English, but free wi-fi helped )). And the price was about 110 EUR for the one night single room with nice breakfast. The veiw from the room was also perfect!

Overall, Laudensacks is a beautiful little hotel with a garden attached (featuring a Kneipp-type micropool and deckchairs), fancy-looking rooms and a nifty breakfast buffet (which seems a bit small at first, but the lovely waiters are happy to take any extra orders). All this is what you might expect at this price level. As usual, there is some fine print when it comes to practicalities. First off, our room had no separating door toward the bathroom other than a laughable glass sliding door. So, be prepared for some early wake-up light on a summer morning. This also contributes to the terrible heat management on hot days: Despite our best efforts to keep the curtains drawn and open the windows at night, the temperature rarely dropped much below 30°C. There’s also precious little space in the bathroom to put things (though the shower is generously sized) and to put your shoes, and the writing desk had no power outlet. Funny enough, the minibar seemed to take a summer vacation too, as its temperature dropped just barely below room temperature (yes, it was on). Minor things, but then again, this is not a hostel. Generally a nice place to stay in Bad Kissingen, not too far from its center. We didn’t get to try the hotel’s sauna (there was no pool; so we took a walk to the spa center uphill.)
