Laur Hotels Experience & Elegance

We had a wonderful summer vacation at this hotel with our family! Everything was just perfect — from the clean and comfortable rooms to the friendly and helpful staff. A special thank you to the amazing Kids Club team, who made our daughter’s birthday so memorable with a lovely celebration. She had the best time and we truly appreciated the thoughtful effort! The à la carte dinner at the beach restaurant was another highlight — delicious food, beautiful setting, and great service. We would definitely come back again and highly recommend this hotel to families looking for a relaxing and fun holiday.

Hotel was great, Alper was amazing with entertainment especially during the day with darts and water polo etc, always lively and great conversations daily. Food was good loved the snack bar. Hotel was always clean and the bar staff quick with drinks always cleaning the glasses after finishing drinks, pool staff always making sure you had clean towels around the pool and taking away ones that wasn’t being used so always sunbeds available. The excursion shop outside hotel to the right is amazing.

We stayed in the hotel as two families for 12 nights. Originally Turkish but from the UK. For our first two nights we stayed in the main building however could not sleep due to the air conditioning. The main building has a very old fan system so you cannot adjust anything like the normal air conditioning systems. We were moved to a room in the new building which was much better. Service: majority of staff were great like Eda and Fadime at the reception desk, Bell boy Onur, and the staff in the Elegance bar and restaurant. I was disappointed that the guest relations staff could not speak Turkish or English properly. Food: the food in the main restaurant seemed like it was the same everyday so we did get bored and ate out 3 nights. There is not too many options however the food was tasteful. Pool and beach: over our 12 nights we were never able to find a space by the main pool or beach. You need to wake up at 4am to secure a space or pay the towel guy some tips as he likes to reserve for people. He even tried removing our towels to give space to another family. Disappointing. Quite disappointing that the photos you see when book of the Mocha beach and infinity pool are actually not free to use. 80€ a day! Ridiculous! Be prepared to sweat as the none of the joint use areas have air conditioning, its a fan system blowing out hot air a bit like a hairdryer. Lobby, bars, restaurants which I found extremely difficult to understand In this day and age. On our second day there was no water in the hotel due to a pipe burst we were told. This took two days to fix. Our room was on the 5th floor and regularly the lift did not work so had to use the stairs. Overall I do not think the hotel is a 5 star as I have been to many in Turkey and this hotel struggled in many areas. I do not think the hotel was ready for a busy period at all therefore most guests were disappointed. The hotel has great facilities however they cannot run it therefore the negatives outweigh the positives. Unfortunately won’t be revisiting!
