Lavandula Manor Self Catering

Had two great nights at Lavandula Manor. Our room was exceptionally well appointed and we had a fabulous view of the Bay from our room. Found the bed to be extremely comfortable and it is ideally situated for all parts of Mossel Bay, very central and a great Spar just up the road should you wish to self cater. All in all a fantastic experience and can heartily recommend Lavandula Manor as an excellent place to stay.

Our pool view room had an unrivaled view of the sea and Mossel Bay. Everything was very clean and was cleaned daily. Rather unsuitable for self-caterers as you couldn't prepare a meal due to a lack of equipment. The king size bed was very good. The room could have been darkened better, as the sun shone brightly into the room from 5 a.m., but that didn't really matter. Now to the unfortunately negative side: The room is very noisy. At 5:00 a.m. the harsh noises were heard from the first floor. I thought the Moscow State Ballet was rehearsing for a performance. At 6 a.m. the spook was over. However, on vacation you like to sleep until 7 a.m.... The pool was not usable in the afternoon on two days because a group of young people were loudly playing games and jumping exercises. I don't mind that a Golden Retiver jumps into the water, these dogs love the water. All in all: An honest 4 points for the location and facilities. An honest 1 point for clairaudience and pool performance. All in all, that makes a well-intentioned 2 points!
