Lavendale Country Retreat

We’ve stayed at lavendale twice now and both times have been equally amazing! From the friendly farm animals, the clean and comfortable beds, well equipped cabins, kids play area and the peaceful country atmosphere we have loved it! My kids are 3 and 7 and never want to leave! The host was so welcoming and friendly, allowed my kids to follow her around while she fed the animals and let them get involved! When I ended up with a flat tyre on my car they even changed it for me. Highly recommend for a wholesome, child friendly and easy holiday.

***** My family had 2 cabins - the Aussie Bush Cabin and the Bali Hai to house 4 adults and 6 kids to kick start the school holidays on Sunday 6-7/7/25 and we had a ball enjoying each others company in the well equipped cabins with beautiful linen and comfy beds. The kids enjoyed interacting with the animals, playing in the games room and the trampoline, cubby house and sand patch. Teresa was so lovely to deal with. We had 3 special needs kids with us and they loved the holiday - thank you and we would love to visit again.

We recently booked two properties for a family break (6 adults & 2 children). Both properties were well presented and had everything we needed for a family break - right down to plastic plates for the children and high chairs. The children were free to enjoy the property and gave a 👍for the river, animals, playground and even the games room! The only caution is to remember to pack insect repellant as they were a ‘welcoming party’ at dusk. Otherwise a very enjoyable break for everyone
