Lavin Suites Hotel

Disorganized staff, noisy all night, dishonest service. Despite being guaranteed by the manager that we were being given a "very quiet room," we were kept up past 3am by blaring street music coming through paper-thin windows, staff shouting to each other in the hotel courtyard, and bashing noises from the kitchen that was oh-so-conveniently located directly above us. Additionally, the manager was dishonest about the price of a ride to the airport (which he would happily organize for us), stating that nighttime lifts were more expensive due to "extra tariffs imposed at night." We quickly found this to be a blatant lie after crossing the street and inquiring with a few different cab drivers. In a country where service was otherwise excellent and refreshingly genuine, Lavin was a massive disappointment.

The very first night of our stage, we left our bag for an hour in the terrace and we found out that 900 EUR was stolen from the wallet in the bag. As there was no other neighbor at that exact time slot, the only suspects were hotel administration. In the end they didn't resolve the problem and we left the hotel with very sad mood. Our whole holiday plan wasted because of this hotel!

Do not stay here if you value your sleep. There was loud music playing until midnight in front of the hotel and a noisy restaurant at the back that continued into the early morning. The paper thin windows did little to keep out the noise. To make matters worse, we were given the room below the noisy kitchen. Promises from the staff to reduce the noise made no difference. Additionally, we had to chase up staff to get back our change after paying. They also tried to overcharge us for a taxi to the airport.
