We have been at Hotel Lavinta last 2 years for 30 days. Everything very good. We have a Month again about newyear for special Price ca. 1.000 EURO incl. wifi. De-luxe room. Breakfast. (Very good). Many Regards from Denmark
Room size is OK 1. Location is about 200m to the local morning wet market. But in the evening it rurn into a small night food street. 2. Walking distance to the Jomtiam beach through Soi 7 opposite the hotel to the main road.
I stayed in 4 different hotels during this trip, and Lawinta was the only one that gave me such a terrible experience. The staff here don’t know how to behave at all. It was shocking. • Cleaning staff barged into my room shouting, just because the tissue in the bathroom was wet. Literally shouting on their language and taking pictures without permission • Someone else from the hotel literally came into the room sniffing around like a detective, claiming someone smoked on the balcony (which is allowed), then started shouting and demanding fines like he was doing me a personal favor. This guy left only we when we raise our voice back and asked to call manager • The worst part — they looted the deposit money saying the pillow cover was “dirty with sweat” even though it was washable. That’s just an excuse to steal your deposit. They supposed to come and clean room everyday which they are not ready to do This place is all about finding ways to fine you and take your money. No respect, no professionalism, just rudeness and a scam-like attitude. They pretend to be a hotel, but act like they’re running some interrogation center. The only good thing? The location and room price. But what’s the use if you can’t have peace during your vacation? I’m calling this the “Fine Hotel” – because they only care about fining and finding ways to squeeze money out of guests. After this awful experience, I checked other reviews and found I’m not the only one. So please, stay away from this place if you want a peaceful holiday. I don’t know how to explain my situation but please stay away from this
