Lawrences Hotel

This quaint little hotel is a life saver during massive power outage that hit Portugal,Spain, parts of France,Belgium,Netherlands 28Apr25.Squatted there for almost 3h for delicious lunch & wifi as hotel had power from a backup generator.Other eateries could only serve salad or closed up.The reception staff there was most understanding and friendly to many who were not even hotel guests.ThkQ for your kind hospitality.

This hotel is said to have 5 stars but the hotel is extremely run down, more like a 3 stars place. There is no facilities other than dining. The bathroom has many broken damaged tiles and grouting was mouldy. Every time we have a shower the floor is flooded with water. The only good thing is Breakfast, however there are lots of ants in the dining room. We bought a bottle of water and when checked out was charged the most extortionate price of €16!!! for a 1L PET bottle of water. I would not recommend this place at all. There are many other hotel near by which you can choose from at much lower price.

This is one of the worst hotels that I have ever stayed at. It is amazing that they call themselves a luxury hotel. Our room was absolutely disgusting, especially considering the amount we paid for it. The bathroom was dirty upon arrival. The sheets and covers had holes on them. There were bugs everywhere since all the windows were opened and all the furnishings were falling apart. The mattress was essentially just springs. When we went to complain they just pushed it off and said that someone else can deal with it in the morning despite the fact that we were leaving the next day at 6 am. I would highly recommend never staying at this place. It is a complete scam.
