Le Bamboo Bali

I didn’t stay here but went to a yoga teacher training, which meant I spent almost every day here for three weeks. The place is beautiful, and so peaceful in the very busy city of Uluwatu. The staff is incredibly friendly and the food is great! I can especially recommend the fruitbowls and the red curry.

Great villa, tasty food, and friendly service I spent one night at Bamboo Bali and enjoyed at least 21 meals there during my 300h YTT. It was a consistently positive experience. The villa was beautiful – with an amazing view and a lovely pool – and the food was fresh, flavorful, and thoughtfully presented. What really stood out was their attention to food intolerances. The team was always willing to adapt and find solutions, which made meals feel both safe and enjoyable. The staff was kind and welcoming, and the overall atmosphere was relaxed and inviting. A great place if you're looking for comfort, healthy food, and warm service in Uluwatu.

Disappointed – Poor Welcome, Untrained Staff, and Lack of Comfort Unfortunately, my stay at Le Bamboo Villa Uluwatu was far from the relaxing escape I had hoped for. From the beginning, the welcome was cold and disorganized, with no clear communication or hospitality. It felt like we were more of a burden than guests. The staff seemed poorly trained and unsure how to assist with even basic requests. It didn’t feel like anyone was truly managing the experience. The room was nearly empty of amenities – no proper toiletries, poor lighting, and a lack of care in setup. For the rate they charge, this was surprising and unacceptable. On top of that, the room was full of mosquitos, and there were no repellents or solutions offered. Overall, the property looks nice in photos, but in reality, it’s not well maintained, and the service level is far below what you’d expect in Uluwatu. Be careful before booking – the place needs serious improvement to justify the price.
