The property itself is charming, peaceful, and beautifully situated—but what truly sets this place apart is William, the host. From the moment I arrived, William went above and beyond to ensure I felt welcome and well taken care of. His English is excellent, and his kindness and generosity made my visit unforgettable. He offered me lifts into town, dropped me off at my dinner reservation, brought me complimentary waters without me even asking, and even made sure I got to the train station on time. It’s rare to meet someone so genuinely thoughtful and helpful. If you're visiting the Dordogne region and want to feel truly looked after, this is the place to stay.
