Right, let's start with the negatives, there aren't any. Bill & Karen are wonderful hosts, nothing is too much trouble and they really go the extra mile to make your stay comfortable. Some lovely little touches and super accommodation. Ideally placed to explore places of interest. Top marks from me. John Grantham

A great place handled by friendly and supportive people. Nice, clean, and cozy accomodation (a farm-house look with all the modern amenities), outdoor/heated swimming pool, relaxing countryside environment. Located close to some small towns (shops, restaurants etc.) and a convenient base for car trips.

We have just returned from a fantastic two weeks in the one bedroom gite (The Cowshed) and cannot rate this place highly enough. We felt like we'd taken a risk, as it was short on reviews as it had only recently been launched, but decided to give it a go. We were also shown around other gites on site during our stay; all superb. Local area is quiet, beautiful, peaceful, yet accessible; not far from coast and nearby town of Saint Hilaire Du Harcouet, which is lovely with some great restaurants and brilliant market. The gite was clean, beautifully and sympathetically renovated and decorated to a high standard with individual touches that made it feel like home. The bed was superb and as I have a chronic back condition this was much appreciated. Swimming pool and gardens beautiful and extremely well maintained. Best "welcome pack" we've ever had (and we've done this for years); bread, wine, a few very nice items in fridge and bathroom made our settling in a treat. Really appreciated bedding and towels being provided - all great quality. Perhaps the best part of our stay were our hosts who have that rare and wonderful gift of being "there but not there"; Jayne and Dominic were incredibly welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. Anything we needed or needed help with, was just produced almost instantly. Simultaneously, they had enormous respect for our privacy which is a fine art. We left feeling as if we had made new friends. Without doubt, we will be back.
