Le Bon Repos

I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. During my trail run yesterday. Despite the hot weather leaving me with insufficient water, the waiter kindly offered me a complimentary bottle of cold water. I really appreciate his kindness that went above and beyond my expectations. Your fantastic kindness made my trial run even more memorable. Thank you for their hospitality!

Clean Hotel, nice room but not located that close to the town. There is a bus stop right out side so suspect we didn't make the best use of that. we only stayed one night.

Positives: •The location of this hotel is very good for exploring the Mullerthail Trail and is also only a 30 min drive from Luxembourg City. •The food in the restaurant is nice, but expensive. There is a pizzeria 3 minutes away which is just as nice and more reasonably priced. Negatives: •Our room only had a shower (no bath, as described in the booking). The shower had no door or curtain, meaning the bathroom was soaked all over when showering. The staff tried to help on the first night, by opening the sauna showers two floors up, but sadly these were cold and also didn't lock. We were given prosecco at dinner as compensation and told it would be sorted the next day. The next day, it was not sorted and we weren't given a solution, so we had a cold shower which resulted in a flooded bathroom and us having to use every towel we had to mop it up. The staff simply told us to email the hotel. The email correspondence was rude and didn't provide a solution or address the issue. • The room has a lot of blue / red lights on the light switches and controls, these can't be turned off at night • The bathroom window has no curtain and the bathroom door is transparent, meaning the light comes in to the main room • There are no tea / coffee facilities in the room, the carpet is worn and the bedding dated, only one square pillow is provided per person • There is no communal area to sit and have your own refreshments with friends, not even the terrace. But there are no chairs provided in your room. You must purchase all food and drinks from the hotel if you want to sit in a communal area.
