Le Bouchon Brasserie & Hotel

I had a fantastic experience at Le Bouchon for my birthday. The room was very clean & comfortable making it a very enjoyable sleep. The food was brilliant, i had the duck breast, sirloin steak which was perfectly medium rare and a lemon tart for dessert. Plus a superb full English in the morning! All the staff were very helpful and smiley and going the extra mile! I look forward to going back!

Top marks for staff, food, location… probably the best uk hotel I’ve been in! Only one issue… lack of air con. But honestly they can’t be blamed for the crazy heat. Perhaps a better fan in the room would be an idea, but other than this everything was spectacular. Thanks so much for a lovely stay!

We visited Le Bouchon on a Saturday evening to celebrate my 30th birthday, and honestly, it was spot on. From the moment we arrived, the team made us feel really welcome – the service was warm, friendly and genuinely attentive all night. The food was amazing! We started with the Jambon de Parme and the Lambton & Jackson smoked salmon – both beautifully presented. For mains, we went for the sirloin steak and the rump of lamb, both cooked perfectly. Dessert was a real highlight too – the warm cherry Bakewell and the dark rum roasted pineapple were just delicious. The whole place has a lovely, elegant feel – perfect for a special night out. We definitely felt it was worth the money, and it made the evening feel like a proper occasion. We’re getting married nearby in October and have already told our guests to check this place out – it’s a great spot for a nice dinner or a little getaway. Would absolutely go back. Highly recommend!
