We checked into our room late, and about two hours before our arrival, the reception called to make sure everything was fine. They even asked if we wanted to have dinner and reserved a table for us at a restaurant very close to the hotel. The staff was extremely kind, welcoming, and attentive. The rooms were spacious, quiet, and very comfortable. In the morning, we enjoyed an excellent breakfast—everything was simply outstanding. The location is incredibly picturesque and even more beautiful than in the photos.
Charming, intimate, but needs attention to details We recently stayed at this boutique spa hotel, and while there were many positive aspects, some significant shortcomings made our experience less enjoyable than we had hoped. Firstly, the hotel is small and intimate, with just a few rooms, which gives it a cozy, exclusive feel. The staff is wonderful—warm, helpful, and always ready to assist with any request. We felt genuinely taken care of throughout our stay. A special mention goes to the breakfast chef, who truly went above and beyond. At first, the breakfast buffet seemed limited—mainly sweet pastries, a few yogurts, and some fruit—but as we stayed for five days, the chef took the time to learn what we liked and tailored breakfast to our preferences. She picked fresh vegetables from the garden, bought cream cheese for us, learned how we liked our coffee, and prepared our eggs perfectly each morning. Her generosity and attention to detail were highlights of our visit. The hotel’s spa was another high point, with a fantastic indoor pool, sauna, and other relaxing amenities. It’s a great feature of the property and truly enhanced our stay. However, the room itself was a major disappointment. It wasn’t as clean as we expected, and housekeeping was not thorough during our stay. Worse still, there was mold in the shower, which is simply unacceptable at this price point. The room was also poorly lit, with no soft lighting or reading lamps near the bed. It made it impossible to read comfortably, either at night or in the early morning. The room, though intimate, was quite small, and about a third of its space was taken up by a large jacuzzi tub, which we never used because the main spa was so much better. Finally, the beds were not comfortable, which further detracted from our ability to rest and relax. In conclusion, while the hotel’s small, intimate setting, attentive staff, and excellent spa were definite pluses, the issues with the room, cleanliness and uncomfortable beds left us feeling a little bit disappointed.
We are extremely disappointed in this company. We stayed here in May the days before our wedding. We paid 500 euros per night (!), so 1500 euro total for 3 nights. We soon discovered that the air conditioning was not working. And because we had a suite with the bedroom upstairs, the room quickly reached 30 degrees. A technician came several times, but unfortunately without results. This resulted in us having to move to another room in our bathrobe on two different evenings, sleep there and then return to our own room the next morning. After 2 sleepless nights (before the wedding) and our dissatisfaction was shared with the staff, the owners were called in. They promised us that we had to pay for half of the nights, so we would get 750 euros back. To our great surprise, we received an email on June 27 that they would not give a money refund, but that we would receive a voucher of 200 euros to spend at the resort. This is of course not what was agreed and is a foreign proposal in relation to the promise. We wouldn't want to stay there again based on how the staff of the reception treated us. Now 2.5 months later we have not made any progress.
