A former wine storehouse converted into beautiful accommodation. Very comfortable rooms and all the facilities you would need for short or long stays. Taxis are expensive to Bordeaux but fairly cheap coming back the other way. The owners are incredibly friendly and speak great English, we had a taxi fail to show up so the owner shuttled us to a nearby château so that we didn’t miss the wedding.

We spent a few days at Mario's Winery, run by a lovely couple who gave us a very warm welcome. The accommodation is very charming, has plenty of amenities (kitchen, but also bikes and outdoor games), and we slept well there. There are three bedrooms, two doubles and one with 3 single beds. Nearby is a green trail for cycling or running surrounded by trees, and in the winery's garden there is a vegetable garden and magnificent sunsets.
