Le Chalet du Mont Vallon Spa Resort

Very good staying experience! Location is very good, not far away from the center of Les Bruyeres. Ski in/out is very convenient for skiers and snow boarders. Tidy up the room every day, service is very nice. I am sure I will choose to stay at this apartment if I come back to ski at this area.

We stayed for a week at Christmas in a one bed room. The room as nice enough although the kids bunk bed alcove is right by the front door so it can be a bit noisy in there for them. The swimming pool area was nice but it was very cold which did make it hard to enjoy for any length of time. You could try using the sauna but there are so many out of control kids that kept leaving the door open leaving that cold too. We ate at the bar Christmas Eve. The staff were very accommodating for our last minute request. We had the house burgers which were amongst the best burgers we’d ever had. The location of this hotel is ok. It’s a the bottom of the resort so if the public lift breaks it can be quite the walk especially if carrying skis or shopping. The lift broke twice whilst we were there. The hotel is ski in, ski out but if you have novice skiers in the group the return back can be tricky as the piste just before it ices up badly. We did find some of the other guests in the hotel were pretty inconsiderate. Our neighbours were noisy, dirty (leaving garbage bags in the hallway over night) and left their gear blocking the hallway too. Overall, would I book again, I’m not sure.

If your looking for luxury this is NOT for you. Food sub pare, spa & pool basic very small , kids using facility should not be allowed at least after 7 pm. No lockers . 3 pieces of exercise equipment?? Staff & location lovely. Room was spacious & warm. Kitchen w/ tea kettle, 3 spoons, 4- cups & mugs?
