Le Chamonix by Telluride Alpine Lodging

Had a great stay in unit B. The studio was perfect for my solo trip but a couple or a very small family would be very comfortable there too. Little, but nice sized, kitchen was a plus. There's no view from the room but you're just a short walk (1-2 minutes) to the lift. While you can't ski to the door, it's close enough to trudge over in your boots. Le Chamonix sits above Boot Doctors and is well situated in Mountain Village. Just a short 2-3 minute walk to the gondola station too. All in all, a great place to stay with a good price to match. Tip: Try to complete your contract and arrange to get the lockbox code before you get there. If you don't, you'll have to detour into town (Telluride, not Mtn Village) on your way in so that you can't pick up the key and that can be a real hassle.

Stayed in 2a and it does need some maintenance. Fireplace vents falling out, carpet in living is aweful, master jacuzzi tub does not operate, you can shower and bathe though. One window doesnt operate in living area and patio door weatherstripping is missing so it cools the living down quickly. There were plenty of left over items from past renters, coffee, spices. Fully stocked kitchen plates cups pans etc. There was enough toilet paper for 1 day but we requested more and they delivered. The elevator light is out so its completely dark and elevator smells of some funk.
