Le Clos Des Abeilles

Magnificent place! Lovely decorated house that makes you relax and let go. Very delicate breakfast. Individual access from all rooms to spacious garden and great small pool. Hosts were extremely friendly and kind, thanks a lot!

We had an absolutely incredible stay here. Val (the owner) was initially a little shocked that we were going to spend 5 days here with no car but my mother had a knee injury and couldn’t walk and we were looking for pure relaxation. There are some incredible walks around the area which my sister and myself did (vines, hills and stunning buildings for miles). The house, the pool and the view are really beautiful and it is so tranquil. There is nothing around you, so unless you are willing to hike each day, or you want to do nothing, you do really need a car. The towns nearby are stunning and the wine from this region is sensational. There is a wonderful shared kitchen and a little but well-stocked shop a 30 minute walk away in Ruch. Val also sells wine at very reasonable prices. Val is an incredible host…the breakfast includes her home made bread, yoghurt and jams, she is there to help you but not too imposing, she brought us ice cream, cold beer and water in the sun and she puts up with terrible attempted French; she even bought us a croquet set to meet our English needs. Would 100% recommend - I wish that we could have stayed longer. Only tip, bring mosquito repellent.

We absolutely loved the stay here. You are surrounded by nature and there is a lovely swimming pool too. The rooms are very charming and the breakfast simple but delicious. A perfect place if you look for a beautiful quiet place to relax
