Great location, 2min walk to main places… Hotel is not 4* and yes, rooms are a little outdated, but all very clean…Staff is super nice and friendly…The woman at the reception even remembered the next morning that our daughter needs glutenfree breakfast…All in all a good hotel and the breakfast was ok!!

After reading more reviews after booking I was nervous, but it was better than expected! Great location, staff were helpful. Breakfast was good, well stocked and tasty. Restaurant seems to be permanently closed, but there are plenty of options close by. Bed was very firm, and the ensuite has a weird layout, but was clean. Air-conditioning worked well, there was daily room cleaning. The elevator was in service. Reception was able to direct us to a nearby car park that had a good rate. Lecce is lovely

DREADFUL service in this place. One of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had and I’m a Travel Writer that travels for a living. We stayed for 3 nights/4 days and not once was our room cleaned. On arrival we only had a little toilet paper so we had to go to the reception and specifically ask for toilet roll. The breakfast ran from 7am until 10am but on two days when we went downstairs at 8.30 and 9, there was nothing left and the trays had been wiped clean! It should be a basic process when running a hotel to replenish food so that your guests have enough to eat. Not first come first serve and the other guests eat the scraps or go without breakfast. In an apparent four star hotel. You could ask for the server to make you an omelette if you wanted so we had to do that one day out of necessity because there was no breakfast left. But finding the server was another issue. He was nowhere to be found in the restaurant or the kitchen and after waiting around more than 15 mins, I went to ask the receptionist who told me he would find him. Another 20 minutes go by without this man resurfacing. There was nobody else in the restaurant! This is not acceptable service. The general attitude of all of the people working in this dump is poor. Add to this, the fact that I had prepaid for our room online and when we arrived, the man just handed over the key moodily, providing no information about the hotel or the area. When it came to our checkout day, we hadn’t realised that check out was 10.30am because the staff could not be bothered to give us any information. We assumed it was 12, like a normal hotel, but this was a terrible experience in every way.
