My husband and I stayed at Le Grand Bellevue and it was astonishing. Our visit was mainly due to the ATP Gstaad Open, which was unbelievable near to the hotel, just 2 minutes away. The reception by Olivier was fantastic, he made our stay so comfortable by always giving us recommendations. The wellness is also very good and comfortable. Perhaps the only downside was the restaurant, food was not of our taste and extremely expensive paying over CHF 300 for a 3 course menu for two persons. I highly recommend this hotel, it brings the best of Gstaad with a fine twist of taste.
Couldn’t be happier with Le Grand Bellevue. The location is super central - walkable to town. The spa is so fun with lots of sauna steam room jacuzzi cold plunge pool and other choices. The service was extremely friendly and genuine. Everyone smiled at us. Especially Olivier at the concierge who always greeted us with the biggest smile and gave us the best recommendations on where to go sightseeing and where to dine. He speaks 19 languages!!!! Le Grand Bellevue felt like home after a few days. Highly recommend.
My stay at Le Grand Bellevue was, overall, a special experience. The staff were warm and greeted me kindly wherever I went, and the facilities were outstanding. However, my only unpleasant experience during my 3-night, 4-day stay was with the hotel concierge, Mr. Olivier. His reputation was well-known, but not once did he initiate a greeting with me. I always had to greet him first, and only then did he return a brief acknowledgment. This might seem minor, but in contrast, other staff members knew my name and greeted me warmly every time we met. It left me with the impression that he disregarded me as an Asian guest. At check-out, he thanked me in Chinese. This was despite the fact that, at check-in, I had made it clear I was Korean, and he himself had told me he spoke 19 languages but not Korean. Yet, his final words were a “thank you” in Chinese. Le Grand Bellevue is not just another tourist restaurant or casual hotel — it’s a luxury property where I expect consistent excellence from all staff. I rarely leave such reviews, but several days have passed and the unpleasantness remains. If my perception is mistaken, I would be open to hearing a response. In my opinion, Asian guests might want to reconsider staying here. That said, the facilities and the kindness of the other staff members are beyond comparison with any other hotel — truly the best.
