Le Grand Hotel Diego

I stayed here for 3 Nights, really liked the hotel. Staff is friendly and very supportive. Room service is good. From food perspective, the chef is really wonderful, always ready to cook for you as per your liking. Just explain him and he will cook for you, whatever the cuisine is. Breakfast was also good, just they need to improve the presentation. There is a discotheque and a quad bike rental just opposite the hotel. Also, shops are near by. You can also visit taxi bay at a walking distance. I would recommend this to all the indian travellers. 👍

Date of stay : Mon 6 - Thursday 9 May 2024 A decent hotel. Rather on the old side. Breakfast is really lousy. Coffee doesn’t taste good.

The BAD: Toilet did not flush later in the morning, I had to use water from the shower which I put in the bin to flush the toilet, the aircon leaked and wet the bedroom floor, and the garbage bin in the toilet had not been cleared for a while - there was a rotting apple core and other garbage in that bin. The wifi was painfully slow. A light was flickering in the bathroom and needed replacing. The governess was apologetic but we received no complimentary voucher for our troubles. The hotel has no sense of how to COMPENSATE clients who are aggrieved. Now for the GOOD: The pool wasn't bad, that at least made us feel better, plus the red flower petals and balloons for our wedding night was a nice touch. The food at the poolside was pricey but enjoyable. My new wife and I have mixed feelings about returning. It was disappointing because it was our honeymoon
