Loved this place. Right in the hub of Tana, very busy when you go outside but wheb you're inside you can't hear the bustle of the place. Great customer service. And the staff went out of their way to make sure we were safe. We had a nasty experience when we went out in the evening for a meal at a nearby diner though, where we were stopped by what appeared to be "men in uniform". So it seems it is better to use a Taxi driver recommended only by the hotel to drop you off and pick you up.

If your are English speaking and like us, do not understand a word in French, do not chose this hotel. You will for starters have a hard time in Madagascar with only your English and then you want to be able to get help at the hotel. They couldn’t even help us point out directions and make recommendations for restaurants. It was a standard hotel, nothing more and nothing less. We choose not to have breakfast included and instead found a great little French pastry place about 10 min walk from there. We think that there is better hotels to chose from than this, without having to chose a big hotel chain!

i have stayed here 3x, i enjoy the people , 'But'', im english from U.S.A. , i cant read or understand my BILL , when its written in madagasy , french or . so hate to say it i wont be staying here again, the shops and street vendors is cool, its a normal everyday setting, the girls i tipped didnt understand gratuity , is very long 33 plus hour flight , and once we try to comprehen our week stay on bill. if we contact a manager we are sent a email written in french, so doesnt do us any good or our charge card company , they dt tell you until you arrive they only accept VIsa charge card , NOT master card , this really screwed us over.
