Le Grande Bali

We had a very good experience staying at Le Grande in Uluwatu. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly friendly, polite, and attentive every request we made was met with a smile. The highlight of our stay was definitely the breakfast a wonderful spread with so much variety, and something new to look forward to every morning. Breakfast was served with a smile , which made a lovely start to the day. The fruit was sweet and fresh, the croissants warm and buttery, and the carrot cake was a delicious surprise. There was a great variety, and something new to enjoy each day. We also visited the spa, where we enjoyed a revitalizing foot massage from the loveliest ladies such a relaxing and pampering experience. A special mention to housekeeping for their excellent service throughout our stay. Highly recommend for anyone looking for comfort, hospitality, and a warm Balinese welcome!

The service at this hotel is so exceptional that it’s worth even more than the room price itself — it makes it easy to overlook the fact that the rooms are a bit dated and could use some renovation. If you’re planning to spend your days exploring Uluwatu and nearby areas, this is an ideal and very affordable option. The staff are incredibly polite and helpful. The rooms are equipped with everything you need, though there are a limited number of power outlets. Room service is available all night, and the food is genuinely delicious. Breakfast offers a wide variety of choices, and the team is always attentive and ready to assist. The hotel grounds are spacious and well-maintained. Some of the decorative ponds could be cleaner, but overall the environment is lovely. The first impression of the room might be mixed, but after a few days, the excellent service more than makes up for the shortcomings in the interior design.

Check-in was quick and easy, with helpful staff who assisted us with our luggage. The suite was spacious, featuring two ensuite bedrooms, a large lounge, dining area, and a kitchen. The balcony had a nice view of the golf course. The hotel staff were accommodating with our dietary needs when given advance notice, and overall, the property felt clean and well-maintained. The hotel is quite large and felt a bit like a maze at first. Its location is remote, so having a car is almost essential. The swimming pool was shallow and not very safe - my family ended up with a few scrapes, and my daughter cut her head on the pool floor. Breakfast options were limited for those with dietary restrictions. A comfortable and spacious hotel with helpful staff, but the remote location and some safety concerns with the pool are worth considering.
