Of course, the hotel has definitely seen much better times, and a lot, A Lot of its facilities are simply defunct, however, the location is great, the city's green belt of parks is all around, the rooms are renovated and have all the required, housekeeping is efficient, and whatever us working or not, still maintained at least clean.

There was a strong smell in the lobby and elevators, probably coming from the Indian restaurant downstairs. Unfortunately, the ventilation didn’t seem to be enough. The best thing about the hotel is definitely its location — it’s really central and convenient. Smoking isn’t allowed in rooms without balconies. There are shared balconies at the end of the hallways, but we weren’t allowed to use them. The staff said they were emergency exits, but they looked like regular balconies. Breakfast was quite poor. The hotel is a bit old, but it’s still okay for a short stay. Staff were helpful and responsive to feedback.

Very famous building and known to all cabbies as Tata building,so even with language issue easy to approach. Plus side an Indian restaurant Raj kapur serving authentic indian food,so great for Indian tourist. Excellent breakfast options.Negative side, room cleaning not upto mark, very small bathroom with no jetters and reception staff not very helpful, in particular Mr.Daulat who kept us waiting for 3 hours in lobby after arriving from India because of hotel policy unless we were ready to pay tarrif. Same on last day we had to check out at 12 noon sharp keep bags at conceirage and Mr.Daulat not willing to adjust even 1 hour extra even though hotel was barely 50 % occupied. Their check in is 2pm and check out is 12noon so you pay for 22hours which one should keep in mind.
