This is the place you go to for a quiet retreat. Do opt for room near the elevator as the last room can be quiet a distant away. The bed is comfortable with plenty of pillows. The room we took had individual separation within the toilet for the water closet, shower and bathtub. Water pressure is excellent and temperature modulation great. Full amenities are available in the room, including iron and ironing board. However, the tech is a bit dated using build in controls from the 90s. There are limited electrical socket point too. Breakfast is a normal affair with the buffet leaning towards local delights. Overall it is a recommended value for money stay here.

Checked in here in Le Grandeur Palm Resort for business trip. Honestly speaking, the building might be old but it gives very good antique vibe instead of the feeling of “conjuring” old. I like how attentive, polite and soft spoken of the staffs here. Appreciate that good service and stay. (Plus point: they placed my plushy very cutely, gotta give extra credits for this)

Stayed at Le Grandeur Palm Resort Johor for our recent church camp. The resort is spacious and ideally suited for company or church retreats, featuring a golf course, two swimming pools (including an Olympic-sized pool), and various sports facilities like squash, billiards, and bowling. The property itself is quite aged, and the rooms clearly reflect this. While comfortable, housekeeping standards varied—some areas were noticeably dusty, and bottled water replenishment was inconsistent. Interestingly, our room didn’t have a phone to contact the front desk, although it wasn’t an inconvenience for us. Service overall was good, and the staff were welcoming and helpful. However, the resort may not be the most wheelchair-friendly, so accessibility could be an issue for some guests. The resort is definitely ideal for big families, as most rooms seem to have connecting options (one king room connected to one double-twin room). If you’re looking for a place suited for large group gatherings, this resort is a decent option, provided you adjust expectations regarding the room conditions.
