Le Jardin de la cité

We had a fantastic 5 days in this lovely small property right outside the ancient Cité of Carcassonne. The owner is lovely and gave us some excellent recommendations for excursions and restaurants. The room was a nice size with a patio and a swimming pool on the property (little cold in October mind you... but still nice!). The location is perfect - just a 200m flat walk from the entrance to the ancient town, where there are many shops, attractions and excellent restaurants. We hired a car and were able to find the property easily (1 hour from Toulouse airport), then use it as a base to explore the region - there are so many places to explore around here! In particular the Cathar chateaus to the North and South and the incredible cave: "Gouffre Géant de Cabrespine".

À 3 mn à pied de la cité médiévale, la situation est idéale. La propriété est très belle et la chambre (suite familiale) impeccable. Literie très confortable. Petit déjeuner copieux et de qualité. Notre hôtesse est très sympathique et aux petits soins.

Un moment très agréable. Un accueil vraiment bienveillant. Une véritable rencontre... Une rencontre vraie. Une personne que je souhaiterai revoir. Une chambre magnifique : de l'espace, le confort des lits, une SDB très grande... Un très beau jardin. Un petit déjeuner avec des fruits frais, des petits gâteaux maison... A 5 min à pied de la cité. Que demander de plus ??? Un très grand merci et à très bientôt j'espère. Laure
