It’s in an excellent location—very close to three metro stations and surrounded by great restaurants. In terms of value for money, I can honestly say it’s the best hotel I’ve stayed at. Every staff member is incredibly friendly and kind, and you can genuinely feel that it comes from the heart. The common areas are beautifully and tastefully designed, and the rooms are just as lovely and functional. I already know where I’ll be staying on my next visit to Paris. Thank you!
The hotel is aesthetically beautiful—very bohemian and charming with a French vibe. Our room was clean and comfortable when we arrived, and the bed was incredibly cozy. The staff were definitely the highlight of our stay: warm, helpful, and always friendly. However, there were a few serious issues. Around the third day, the shower started to smell strongly of sewage. We reported it, and while the staff said they would fix it, the smell never really went away. Also, my boyfriend started getting bites on his legs from day one. At first, we thought it was mosquitoes, but we later found a tiny bedbug. The staff did move us to a different room, which we appreciated. The restaurant was disappointing—overpriced and the food wasn’t great. Breakfast was also below expectations. Overall, it wasn’t a terrible experience, but there were things that definitely need improvement. With better hygiene and maintenance, this could be a great hotel.
Stayed for a week in May 25. It’s a new hotel and there are a few issues. The reception area has been designed to be a more casual affair which is fine but there were the occasional glitches which occasionally bordered on unprofessional. Our one bedroom open plan suite was well appointed except that one of the sliding doors was off its runners, some crockery items were chipped and we weren’t provided with any teaspoons. After 3 days of asking someone at reception if we could get some and plenty of unfulfilled promises, I ended up just going to the cafe/restaurant and getting some. On one occasion the reception didn’t know the difference between the clothes washing and dish washing tablets or on another occasion what herbal teas they had. Got a mid week clean which was very ordinary and no replenishment of tea/coffee/sugar. BUT by far the biggest issue is the focus of form over function. The great looking crescent shaped lounge was easily the most uncomfortable lounge I’ve ever encountered in a hotel. The squab is too short and the curve means you can’t lie on it. There’s no TV in the bedroom so you don’t have the option of lying on the bed. The location is great and the restaurant area is lovely. On the morning of our departure there was water dripping through the ceiling near the front door. Got a great deal as I booked before they opened and joined their loyalty scheme but I probably won’t return.
