We stayed for one night and were upgraded to the junior suite. We loved the location as it is so close to the gates of Versailles. We enjoyed that our dog could join us too and they had a dog bowl and dog bed in the bedroom on arrival. We enjoyed dinner in the restaurant and the waiter was great but he was very busy running most tables on his own. He did not seemed to have a lot of help but he did great. The food was delicious. The white wine could have been a little bit cooler but this is my liking. The bar looks incredible and the reception team has been good. There is a car park underneath the hotel and we were lucky to fit our large truck inside but it was tight. The hotel room was very clean and the bed super comfortable. We will be back next year. Thank you very much,
Just back from an amazing weekend in Versaille. Hotel Le Louis Versailles is in the perfect position, so easy to access the Palace and gardens. Room was clean and quite well appointed, no frills, no view but perfectly functional. Lobby area was impressive and had a nice feel to it. All at a fairly reasonable price. I do however, have to agree with other reviewers about staff. Many were lovely and very helpful, some of the dining room staff were downright rude!! Really not necessary and bearing in mind the amount of reviews that mention this, management should really have it sorted by now
Good location. Room is overpriced for what you receive but it’s the peak travel season. A couple of pieces of equipment in the room did not work and took two visits to the front desk to have them actioned. TV did not work, nor did the bidet. Old furniture and rooms looking tired. Wonky bedside tables although the bed was relatively comfy. The free minibar in the suite consisted of a couple of full sugar drinks and a couple of Heineken beers. Asked on the second day if they could change to Coke Zero and they did but advised it’s not the norm. If you wish for a cup of tea take your own tea bags, as they are fruit tea bags in the room, not Earl Grey or EBT. Front seat staff were pleasant how male bartender wasn’t. The female cocktail maker, however, was. Location is at the end of the street of the Palace however, don’t let that be the reason you choose to stay here, as Versailles is easy to walk around and most places are close.
