I might come back. Location is great for me as after working in Paris it allows to drive back to Germany in the morning without facing the traffic of Paris. The place is lovely, well decorated, authentic, and still comfortable. I enjoyed my night and my bath there. The only minus I felt was the breakfast: They have a lovely outdoor area but did not let me use it (did not explain why, as the tables were set). Also you need to ask the guy what you want for Breakfast which is uncomfortable... Other hotels not operating breakfast as a buffet, would let you tick the boxes on a paper with what you want, seeing clearly what is available without a guy telling you a list that you forget halfway through... You need water, you ask, etc, was also uncomfortable. The bacon wasn't cooked enough, and the eggs got cold too fast (maybe the plate where they placed the warm eggs was too cold) but I keep the 5* as the quality of the products for breakfast was exceptional (Great Bread, Great Butter, Great Cheese, Great Ham) except the Orange juice which was from concentrate.

I usually leave positive reviews for accommodations, but this time I was truly disappointed. The room looked nice at first, but there were many issues. Let’s start with the bathroom, which had the most problems: the bathtub plug wouldn’t open properly, so the water was constantly stuck and hard to drain. When using the sink, the water didn’t flow normally—it splashed and leaked all around. The bathroom floor wasn’t clean or properly wiped. In the room: the curtain hooks were coming out of the wall, and the curtains kept falling. The window was in terrible condition, and the wardrobe looked old and neglected. The bedsheets had stains on them. There were no proper sockets to charge your phone—you had to unplug the lamps just to use one. The pool area was cluttered with all kinds of household items, giving an overall messy impression. The housekeeping cart was left next to the elevator, completely disorganized, and stayed like that for the entire 3 days we were there. As for breakfast, it was advertised as a buffet, but there was barely anything to choose from: four types of cheese, two kinds of ham (one of which was spoiled and smelled awful), some fruit, bread, croissants, cereal, and jam. That’s not what I’d call a proper buffet. On top of that, the restaurant staff kept staring at us like we were stealing something—it made the whole experience uncomfortable. Overall, I would never come back here. It's simply not worth the money.

The room and the hotel are generally cold. I think the hotel owner is very stingy, he set the central air conditioning to 22 degrees. The staff is also uncomfortable with this cold weather, they brought a stove to my room. The staff is friendly but incompetent, I booked 2 nights and when I wanted to extend it for 2 more nights, they told me there was no room, but cheaper rooms were being sold on internet sites... generally cold. cold. cold. If you want to be cold, go to this hotel
