Traveling the Loire Valley, this hotel is a gem. Close to the main attractions of Amboise and with the car park on site, gives a good starting point for exploring. Breakfast was rich, served in stylish room, with an air of old world. The staff are very friendly, willing to help, and give a general welcoming air. Will be sure to recommend this hotel, and would dearly love to stay again.
Recently renovated to a high standard (very comfy beds!), the family suite is a great size. Only downsides are the layout - both bathrooms are off the kids’ bed - and the car park views. Staff are helpful and the garden is peaceful despite the central location.
Nice location, beautiful property. Booked a comfort room for 3 nights. We had 2 single mattresses placed next to each other on the bed instead of a true double mattress. This seems to be commonly done in hotels in France, however in this hotel the mattresses were very mobile, making it difficult to sleep on. The hotel staff tried to fix this by adding a mattress protector on top, but this didn’t really solve the issue.
