We just had the pleasure of finding this hidden gem restaurant this evening in the jewel that is Zermatt. From the moment we walked in we knew it was going to be special. Our host was just what we needed. Recommending our wine choices and making us feel so welcome. The wine was exquisite, the food was perfect and the atmosphere was joyful with a solo violinist playing in the background. We will be back!!
Hotel was perfect! We stayed in room 4 and had a beautiful lounge balcony with Matterhorn views. Close walk from the train station and near all the shops. The river made for a very peaceful sleep! Great value- highly recommend.
Le Mazot is one of the best restaurants I have been to in Switzerland. The service was very personable and the atmosphere was cozy. We ordered the mixed grill, and all the meat was perfectly cooked and seasoned. The brownie with a scoop of vanilla ice cream for dessert was delicious. Would highly recommend coming here if staying in Zermatt, you won’t be disappointed!!
