Le Meridien Barcelona

In the heart of the city, this was a great end to our visit to Barcelona. Coming off a 10 day cruise we stayed for one night and wished we could've stayed longer. Our rooms were ready early and we were able to enjoy the spa and outdoor relaxation area. Rooms were clean, very big and the bathrooms were amazing. Loved the water pressure! Staff was very helpful and courteous. I would stay here again.

Great place to stay. It’s a bit pricey compared to other similar hotels in the immediate area but the staff is ‘top shelf’ especially the doormen, concierge and security staff. They are all great and made us feel welcomed and safe. It’s nice that breakfast was included (vs using Marriott points to accumulate more miles/points). The buffet breakfast food provided a decent amount of options.

Overall I would recommend this hotel. From a noise level side, it was shockingly quiet, even with the construction outside on the main street, it was very minimal to what could be heard. Even with the hotel being pretty consistently busy, we didn't really head anything from other rooms or the hallway. This hotel is in a great central location of the city. A lot of things were very walkable. The beds were comfortable and the room was nice. My only issue would be that the tub/shower was a large step and it was much larger than I have seen at any other Marriott. The person I am traveling with has mobility issues and was nervous getting in and out to shower. Though they had installed hand rails and those did help. Overall I would recommend. Everything was clean and taken care of and we didn't have any issues with the staff.
