I haven’t even checked into the hotel yet, but I already feel like a VIP thanks to one incredible staff member—Precious. From the moment I called with a few questions, she went above and beyond to help me. Her professionalism, patience, and genuine care were unmatched. She took the time to walk me through everything, answered all my concerns, and made me feel completely confident and excited about my upcoming stay. Precious is truly a gem—her name fits her perfectly. You don’t come across customer service like this often, and I just had to take a moment to say THANK YOU. Because of her, I’m already incredibly impressed with the hotel, and I haven’t even walked through the doors yet. Looking forward to what I know will be an amazing experience! Give her all the praise—she absolutely deserves it! 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

Hi we are newly married and when we arrived just expected great customer service. I should tell you we didn’t even get a congratulations from their 9pm or 10pm staff,I think the guys name is Ron shuler and I forget the lady name but they both were so rude my and I super sarcastic. The best experience there was the room even though our champagne wasn’t in the room to surprise my wife they still brought it up due to being short staffed. Through all of what we went through we just enjoyed each other. The rooftop is actually pretty amazing also. If we would come back it’ll be for the ladies that worked in the a.m. that Sunday of check out at the front desk, they were welcoming: great energy, very nice, helpful, and we love to come back and enjoy the rooftop as well.

I recently stayed at Le Méridien Charlotte and was extremely disappointed with my experience. The hotel is seriously lacking when it comes to accessibility — no automatic doors anywhere on the property, making it difficult to manage luggage, and the only ramp available is steep and awkwardly placed next to a sitting area. I can’t imagine how frustrating this would be for someone using a mobility device. My room was dusty and poorly maintained — the base of the bed hadn’t been cleaned in what looked like ages. Lighting in the room was terrible, with very few mirrors and no proper lighting for getting ready unless relying on daylight. I was also never informed that breakfast was served at the Sheraton side, so I missed out on that for the four days I stayed. The pool area was constantly messy, with no towels available and trash left around. The staff weren’t particularly welcoming or helpful, which was surprising given my great experiences at other Le Méridien properties. Also, charging for BBQ sauce with a $15 side order of tater tots was ridiculous. This location isn’t very walkable to restaurants or stores, and constantly having to pull out your room key for elevator access felt excessive. I won’t be staying at this property again and hope management seriously reconsiders the accessibility and guest experience issues here.
