I stayed in this hotel more than 5 times, rooms are spacious with classic furnitures . TVs should be replaced with newer models. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. Health club is fully equipped and well maintained
In fairness, the hotel was under some repair so this review is somewhat marred by this. The room was clean, but honestly had a very musty cigarette odor the entire week long stay even though smoking is not allowed. I suspect it may had been at one time or guests did so anyway. Additionally, the room never got cooler than 23° even though the thermostat was set lower and the shades were pulled closed while leaving the room in total darkness for days. This was a shame as the city view from the room was great. Just could not get past the warm room and musty stale odor. Breakfast was adequate and service staff were all very polite. The executive lounge was marginal and certainly not a nice as many other hotels. Service was about the best feature of the lounge. A colleague stayed in same hotel and reported a similar experience. The downstairs lobby however was nice and very clean. This hotel could be much more however some significant renovations may be in order throughout each floor above the ground floor to achieve that. Overall, this is at least a 3 star hotel, but at the moment would not rate any higher.
Awesome location as there is plenty of places to walk to. Rooms are okay not too bad. WIFI is the worst. I have never been in a 5 star hotel that has WIFI this bad. Can’t stream anything, I can’t even get good signal to use my laptop.
