I stayed here with my family for almost two weeks, and we had a very comfortable stay. The staff were friendly, the breakfast buffet had some great food choices and amazing coffee and deserts, the hotel amenities were very convenient. The hotel is very family-friendly, and we loved that the location was very convenient with walking distance shopping malls, restaurants and coffee shops nearby. The only thing we had a problem with was cleanliness, the cleaning service could be better especially with their prices. Other than that, we had a very pleasant stay and would definitely stay at the Meridien Qingdao if we come back.
The location is wrong on google maps so we were actually 30mins away from where we intended to be. We were visiting the Beer festival. Having said that the hotel is huge its more like a resort and has everything. The rooms are huge, breakfast was good. Pool outside was nice. Mall about 10 mins away. Quiet area. I would say the hotel is great and would definitely want to stay here again. But it just wasnt convenient if you are coming for the Beer Festival. I would stay much closer to the Beer Festival as it took us 1 hour on one occasion to reach the Beer Festival.
Location is good but the fitting out is quite at a depreciated state. The most unpleasant thing is the pattern of the bed panel which comprises of a lot of bagua (八卦) signs.
