Le Meridien Shimei Bay Beach Resort & Spa

Hotel area is nice and clean, friendly help everywhere. The direct beach area is clean, somewhat further away from the Hotel area its somewhat dirty with trash around. Food was awesome. Shuttle Bus Service good, takes approximately 1 Hour and something to get there. Prices are fair. English language... ask for the Hotel Manager or the Front Office Manager both fluent in english and very supportive regarding any kind of communicational issues. The Hotel is exactly what it claims to be, a SPA and good for relaxation. Any activities besides getting a massage or playing Golf or Tennis...well no chance. Direct attractions close by ...i havent seen any. I would recommend it again. But i also suggest to the Hotelmanagement some attractions for guests....like arrow bow shooting for example? House-intern cinema could be fascinating (actually they do some beach cinema at the beach bar). Just that its somewhat uncomfortable to watch and listen at the beach.

Location is not good for international travellers. It’s 2hours car ride from both Sanya and Haikou airport. Before Stay: 0⭐️ I have 2 booked reservations and could not find an email to arrange an airport transfer by the hotel. Wrote to Marriot to request a hotel email for easier communication, waited 3 days, called hotel long distance to request an email to send my request, couldn’t communicate properly. Only sorted after 4 days. Rating 4 ⭐️After stay: Saving grace are selective empowered staff with excellent service to delight guests. Good Korean restaurant good food reasonable prices, staff who remember guests and go extra mile to get chef to prep food not on menu! Kudos to Andy! Concierge staff: who noticed we have an early pick up before breakfast restaurant is opened, offered to pack us breakfast for the ride! Spacious rooms especially those with king bed! Overall good stay. 五星级酒店标准？ 网站也没、电邮址也没。地点离三亚、海口机场1.5-2小时、招待外宾？非首选。

Horrible experience The pool inside room is not suitable for swimming. The rushed nail on floor easily hurt your foot. Bad smell inside room. Noisy everywhere during my stay, like a construction site. Even we complaint, no one will respect your feelings. I never tried this level of 5 star hotel.
