Le Meridien Yixing Hotel

The price is very affordable and the interior and exterior of the hotel is definitely worth more the night rate. Spacious room with bathtub. Quiet location and has a convenient store at corner of the hotel.

Check in was quite efficient and my room was very well appointed and spacious, and the view of the lake was simply gorgeous especially at night overlooking the buildings on the water. Bath amenities were Le Meridien brand standard Malin and Goetz, which I particularly enjoyed in the past but the bottles were half the size of the LRM in Shanghai and I received only one tube of each. Annoyingly the body wash was missing in the shower, I received another tube of moisturizer instead so I had to contact housekeeping. Pool felt well designed, however the treadmills in the gym were slightly poorly maintained Breakfast was so so, but at least the coffee was decent. The hotel is adjacent to Wanda Plaza, though the walk to the mall isn't particularly pleasant. Restaurants there were ok, not fantastic and shops felt more suited to local tastes. Overall an ok stay and a good deal at their cash rates.
