Le Mount Stephen

Le Mount Stephen is one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always greeting us with a smile. Bar George, the hotel’s restaurant, was excellent. The rooms were stunning — from the automatic drapes and immaculate cleanliness to the ultra-comfortable bed. The bathroom was a highlight, with a luxurious rain shower and a high-tech Toto toilet that does everything except give you a massage! The location is perfect, just steps from St. Catherine Street. Absolutely phenomenal and highly recommended.

Le Mount Stephen is a beautiful boutique hotel. The staff is wonderful—kind and accommodating. They went above and beyond, from booking restaurants to sending ice to our room, and even repairing a walker for my husband after his surgery. Overall, we received first-class treatment. We tip our hats to them. Très bien!

While the facility itself is beautiful, my recent stay was marred by multiple issues that significantly impacted my experience. Upon our return to the room from an event, our towels were taken by the maid but not replaced? Very odd for housekeeping to enter room even for turn down without permission. On top of that the next morning, the maid bursts into the room at 9 AM without knocking. More disturbingly,......the maintenance man was caught recording us through the open drapes while we were changing in Room 411. This is an unacceptable breach of privacy and was highly disturbing. Despite these issues, the reception staff did not inquire about our experience during check-out. The doorman also failed to assist us with the door, which was an additional oversight. Overall, while the property itself is beautiful, the lack of professionalism and serious concerns about privacy and service left me very disappointed. I hope the management addresses these issues for future guests.
