This is a great location and very convenient to the airport (without traffic). It only took 15 minutes to get there. I was able to check into my room early and the hosts were very nice. It was great being across from the park and having the ability to run to to lake Michigan and back. My only dissatisfaction is with the king room. The bed and pillows were very comfortable but the room was very small. I stayed at cheaper hotels with larger rooms. Although I was by myself I felt like i was crowding my own space. The shower situation wasn't better. While the water pressure and heat was great, I don't get this concept of a small glass pane instead of a full glass door, larger glass pane, or shower curtain (not preferred). Water was still everywhere once I finished showering.

Updated review: In the morning we shared this information with management. They were very nice, understanding and apologetic. They let housekeeping know immediately, and we understand everyone makes human mistakes. They changed our sheets and cleaned our room "extra good". The hotel did try to make things right by sending a bottle of champagne (we don't drink) and breakfast coupons. It is the thought that counts. Conclusions: Though the rooms are small, the hotel is well located and the staff is wonderful. Old Review: Checked in super late at night due to delayed flight. Check in went smoothly, woman at front desk was super nice. Brace yourself, the rooms are tiny, the pictures make it look way bigger. That is okay not an issue. However our room was not very clean, there was hair from a man’s shaving in the bathroom, hair on the toilet and also in the bed (pictures to reference). We are so grossed out but it is also 1:34 am and had a long day traveling. Will bring this up to management tomorrow and ask to change the sheets. Will update review after our stay.
