Near the train station as we wanted. Rooms were great and the service was fantastic. Although it's busy area near the main train station and there are a lot of activities going on for every lifestyle including bars and casinos we never felt unsafe at any time of day or night walking to the hotel to or from the train station. As a tourist in any busy area you should always be aware of your surroundings but we did not feel like it any worse here. All the staff at the hotel were fantastic and the food in the hotel restaurant was outstanding. From the train station you can find transportation to anywhere in and around Frankfurt. Many great food options in the area. We're glad we stayed here and would stay again.
Interesting stay. Wonderful staff so polite and welcoming. With all the building work going on very professional. However the rooms, a kettle with no mugs, no coffee or tea? Only a single coffee voucher for the duration of your stay. An alternative use of the coffee machine was advised and available , plus it is now European Legislation/ Regulations not to have beverages available in rooms. Fair enough but baffling when you check in another hotel within the same chain the next day still in Germany and present is all the necessary provided. No walk to the lobby required. Only 1 small bottle of water per night. For single occupancy that’s fine but if it’s 2 people it’s not. Advised on check out that this is all you are permitted for the room. Yes I did request a second, was promised another. It failed to appear. A very interesting experience. These little things missing impacts a possible 5 star stay.
Be warned, place is under construction at this time of review. Main building you see in the image is completely being remodelled hence you check in through the restaurant side with no obvious signs you’re at the correct hotel. Furthermore, they only clean your room when you call for service which I was not aware of and returned to a dirty room. No amenities in the room, no kettle, no coffee machine, one coupon for one free drink at the bar. My parents staying at an adjacent cheaper hotel and received better service. Overall, I wouldnt come back. Paid a little more thinking my stay would be relaxing but overall just a headache and seems to be run cheaply for the price you pay. Only nice thing is that it’s nice to the central frankfurt station by 2 mins walk but again, many other great hotels to go to.
