Le Méridien Oran Hotel & Convention Centre

Staff are friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean and best with balconiy with a sea view, breakfast outdoors with nice weather and lots of birds flying in the vicinity. We had a lovely stay!

I stayed at Le Méridien Oran and overall had a good experience. The hotel is beautifully located on a cliff with a stunning view of the Mediterranean. The rooms are spacious, clean, and well-maintained. The facilities are impressive – a full spa, gym, indoor and outdoor pools, and a massive convention center. The Wi-Fi and parking are free, and staff speak multiple languages (Arabic, French, English, Spanish), which made communication smooth. However, the service was inconsistent. Room service can be slow, and the front desk staff weren't always helpful or transparent. Some elevators were not functioning during my stay, and a few areas of the hotel are starting to show signs of aging and need renovation. Breakfast wasn’t included in my booking and cost around 2500 DZD (about $18), which felt overpriced. Also, the bathroom design needs improvement – water would spill on the floor, making it slippery. Pros: ✔ Amazing sea view ✔ Spacious rooms ✔ Full facilities (spa, pool, gym, restaurants) ✔ Great for business events and conferences Cons: ✘ Inconsistent service ✘ Some aging infrastructure ✘ Pricey extras like breakfast ✘ Slippery bathroom floors If you’re visiting Oran for business or want a luxury experience, this hotel is a solid choice. Just be aware of the minor service issues and ask for a sea-view room if possible. With a few upgrades, this place could easily become a 5-star experience.

I recently stayed at Le Méridien Oran12 days , and unfortunately, the experience was far from what I expected.The room was dusty, the towels were dirty, and overall cleanliness was not up to standard for a hotel of this category. The food was also a major disappointment repetitive and lacking in variety. What was served at breakfast was essentially repeated at lunch and dinner, with little attention to taste or freshness. To add to the discomfort, the behavior of some of the waiters was unprofessional. I felt uncomfortable due to the way they stared, which made the dining experience even less pleasant. For a hotel carrying the Méridien name, this level of service and hospitality is simply unacceptable. I hope serious improvements are made for future guests.
