Le Méridien Pyramids Hotel & Spa

One of the most beautiful and wonderful hotels is the Meridian Hotel. I advise all people around the world, of all European and Arab nationalities, to stay at the Meridian International Hotel Group.

I had the best time here. The view over the pyramids from my room was amazing. Service - a bit hit and miss but overall positive. Costs - reasonable Location - excellent for the pyramids. As with most of Cairo - excellent shisha!

My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights while in Cairo for our honeymoon. The location is great - within walking distance to the pyramids. We had a suite with a pyramid view, and the view was very nice. Great pool area with a view of the pyramids. However, our room was very outdated (uncomfortable spring mattress, old/dingy furniture, a toilet that wouldn’t flush toilet paper all the way, etc). It felt kind of dirty due to being so outdated and lived in. The breakfast buffet was incredibly chaotic. Servers were running around everywhere but it took 20 minutes of us sitting there for me to flag someone down and ask for clean silverware and a coffee. The food was average- nothing amazing. The hotel is huge and it seems as though the staff do not have the skills or capacity to execute high quality customer service given its size. Overall, it was great for the location alone, but not the most luxurious in terms of accommodations and service.
